Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.

For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you reroll a purchased item, like an armor, weapon or ring. The item is swapped for a different one similar item, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. However, they don't retain the same level as the original item and any resources wasted will not be refunded.

Survivors can obtain tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests or purchased from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of a piece equipment, for example increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To create them, you need an upgrade level token to reroll. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker that rerolls, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces, stays on the spot until the next success is rerolled. This is a way to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of each Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grasping them. When they are opened, they display a full description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.

In the end, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This alters the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players first need to identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item level upgrade will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.

After deciding on the item to upgrade the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. When the requirements are satisfied, the user can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item level upgrade. The item will be raised in level by a specific percentage. Depending on the item's rarity the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item. This makes it an excellent method for players to gain an advantage in battle without putting a strain on their bank account. Furthermore players can transfer experience and advancement of an upgraded item to new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.

For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are many ways to obtain them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will gain an upgraded level. This process can continue until the item reaches its highest level.

Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon beside their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be added to more than one item at once. Additionally each upgrade component will require a particular amount of items to be added, as well as an initial amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item to be upgraded. On the right side, an image of the gear will look like at its next level. When the player has enough items, pressing the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.

They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by acquiring new ones. However, this will ruin the previous upgrade.

Requirements

Upgrades to items can be incorporated into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide additional effects or to increase the level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it is not able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.

Upgrades can boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components include additional modifiers that can enhance the stats of the item.

The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" For instance, increases defense base and adds an additional 20 percent chance to block. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Certain items benefit from upgrading not so much for their improved stats, but for the fact that it allows players to get the most value out of a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.

When you select an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will display an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
